  What does this mean ??

HACK--

Hack has several meanings in the technology and computer science fields.
It may refer to a clever or quick fix to a computer program problem, or to a clumsy or inelegant solution to a problem.
The term is also used to refer to a modification of a program or device to give the user access to features that were otherwise unavailable.

The term often refers to writing a small program or adding code to an existing program to solve a problem in a hurry.
A hack implies writing in a low-level programming language rather than a high-level macro language or application generator that is oriented to the user.
It may mean writing and deploying a patch in machine language. See hacker, patch and machine language.
